About the Project

The french government took a public beating after their refusal to take part in the coalition of support of the United States in Iraq. Architect and French citizen, Jean-Pierre Heim conceived of a grand gesture to show how much the French government and French people still loved and appreciated the American people. On July 4th across France people laid red roses on all the graves of American soldiers who had given their lives in service of liberating France. I was asked to create a booklet commemorating the event.
